Landon Snider Joins Sundek Commercial Contracting

Moving from his role as Sales Representative at Sundek of San Antonio, Landon takes on the position as Commercial Contracting Project Developer with Sundek Commercial Contracting.

Sundek Commercial Contracting is thrilled to announce that Landon Snider has joined the team as the new Commercial Contracting Project Developer. In the last 10 years, Landon’s has gained invaluable industry experience across multiple roles.

While earning his degree in Concrete Industry Management at Texas State University, Landon took on several internships and jobs in the construction field. At Vulcan Materials Company, he conducted gradation analysis along with concrete and asphalt testing. He also gained hands-on knowledge in the Sundek warehouse, managing maintenance as well as packing and shipping materials. Additionally, his role at ARDEX Engineered Cements provided him with exposure to plant-wide housekeeping, material handling, dosing, batching, and quality control.

After graduating in 2016, Landon launched his career at Graystone Concrete Contractors as a Project Estimator, where he specialized in tilt-wall construction. His career trajectory led him to Sundek of San Antonio in March 2018, where he began as a field supervisor before being promoted to Production Manager. In this role, he managed five crews and several key accounts, working closely with pool builders and other clients.

Craig Roohan, General Manager of Sundek of San Antonio, praised Landon’s dedication, stating, “Landon is a fast learner and a great communicator who helps deal with the craziness of crews, clients, and sales reps.” Since 2022, Landon has excelled in the role of Sales Representative, helping customers bring their visions to life while contributing to Sundek of San Antonio’s growth and reputation.

With his new role as Commercial Contracting Project Developer at Sundek Commercial Contracting, Landon brings a wealth of experience. Reflecting on his approach to growth, Landon has said, “The best way I learn is by asking questions of people in the industry—or even other industries. I like to find out what other people do and tailor it to what I’m doing.”

Landon is a third-generation “Sundeker,” with deep roots in the company. His grandparents, Jim and Yvonne, were the original owners of Sundek of San Antonio. His parents, Don and Lori, expanded on this legacy as owners of Sundek of Austin before joining Coatings Group Inc.

In this new role, Landon will assist with coordinating resources, managing client relations, and troubleshooting issues to drive projects from concept to completion successfully.
